History:

When Prophet Muhammad's Peace be Upon Him, and their followers migrated from Makkah to Madina, then the people of Madina recite some verses of Qasida for Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him. Then the people said that this is where the Islamic poetry Originated. Such poems and features investigate Muslim religion and Islamic traditions and discuss significant dates, festivals, and celebrations such as Ramadan.

Poetry is also found in many various languages throughout the globe. Perhaps notably, poetry, once shunned to embody the values of paganism, was put to the service of Islam.
